Hot spots to be on fall break

Are you out of luck on Fall Break plans? Missed the boat going down to the Bahamas? Here are some fun ideas that are cheap and not too far away. One day trips with your friends can be a blast maybe even check off something on your bucket list.

Chicago- Grant Park- Often referred to as “Chicago’s front yard,” Grant Park is over 300-acres of landscaped grass in between downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan. The Park was an important part of Daniel Burnham’s vision of a free and open lakefront that “by right belongs to the people.” As an area mostly clear of commercial space, the park hosts some of the city’s most popular attractions including: Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago. Hike on high bridge – High Bridge is an abandoned trestle over Deer Creek on the Monon Railroad near Delphi. High Bridge is held up by large, stone concrete pillars. It was constructed in 1881 and rebuilt in 1891. It is the second-highest bridge in Indiana, standing 63 feet in the hair. It’s also the second-longest, nearly 854 feet on the old Monon line.
