The Delphi Community High School drama department is set to perform Clue (high school edition) for the fall play. The play is based upon both the board game and the Clue movie. The characters have been invited to a very unusual dinner party in which each of the guests has an alias and their own murder weapon. As people start being murdered, they race to find the murderer before more innocent people die. This play is a comedy that runs about 100 minutes and will keep you guessing until the final plot twist. Now, to introduce you to the students who will be playing these classic characters:

WADSWORTH (Lucian Voorhies) an uptight British butler.

YVETTE (Kandi Balchunas) a French maid

MISS SCARLET (Ella Hudson) a sardonic socialite who loves secrets.

MRS. PEACOCK (Camryn Phillips) is a wealthy wife of a senator and is quick to hysteria.

MRS. WHITE (Kesyln Salmeron) a morbid and tragic woman who may or may not be the murderer of her ex-husbands.

COLONEL MUSTARD (Ella Baker) a stubborn military man in every sense.

PROFESSOR PLUM (Emily Mears) an arrogant academic who is easily impressed.

Mr. GREEN (Vyncent Fredrick) a timid man who plays it by the books and is awfully anxious.

THE COOK (Naveah Dawley) a harsh woman with an intimidating presence.

SINGING TELEGRAM GIRL (Olivia Balicky) a tap dancer

Mr. BODDY (Elizabeth Norris) a rich millionaire

THE MOTORIST (Tanna Hylton) a professional driver

CHIEF OF POLICE (Austin Sowders)

Some of the male characters will be played by girls due to the sparsity of male actors. These ladies will ‘kill’ these roles even though it may take a while to get used to the character roles. The play is directed by Amanda Armstrong and Jeremy Kochman. The show dates are November 4 and 5 at 7 p.m., and November 6 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
