Brady’s Hope leaves impact on Delphi students

Thursday, Nov. 5, Delphi High School and Middle School was hit by some hard truth.  Dustin Noonkester stood in front the entire student body, sharing the story of his organization, Brady’s Hope.  Dustin and his wife, Jennifer travel to youth groups, schools, and churches around Indiana to spread awareness for a drug free life.

Brady’s Hope was founded Sept. 1, 2013.  Noonkester started the foundation in honor of their son, Brady Noonkester. Brady was a student at Carroll High School and graduated with the class of 2012.  He died June 9, 2012 due to a drug overdose.  Dustin’s raw telling of the story of his son struck chords with the students of Delphi Community School Corporation, who were left with the responsibility to tell an adult if they are aware of someone abusing drugs.

The goal  for the organization is to continue for as long as possible helping teens to make smart decisions.  They are driven by their passion for the cause and  according to Jennifer, “just saving one life will make it all worth it. “  Brady’s Hope is a hometown organization that we can all learn something from.
