Each year in February Parnassus features some of our school’s many couples. This year’s group contains a couple from each class, a crossover couple, a faculty couple, a bromance and a womance. Read below to find out more about some of our favorite couples.

How long have you been together?

One month, eighteen days

 

What is your favorite thing about each other?

Peyton: How unselfish she is.

Mia: How he makes me laugh.

 

How did you meet? 

In computer science class

 

Where was your first date?

We went to see Christmas lights.

 

What is one word you would use to describe your partner?

Peyton: Outstanding

Mia: Trusting

Four and a half months

 

What is your favorite thing about each other? 

Graham: I can say everything about her is alright, I suppose.

Elah: His sense of humor.

 

How did you meet?

In elementary school. We’ve been in the same class since first grade.

 

Where was your first date?

Elah: It’s hard to remember. Probably watching Netflix at his house. I forced him to watch the One Direction movie with me.

 

What is one word you would use to describe your partner?

Graham: Perfect

Elah: Thoughtful

Kalvin: Wonderful

What is your favorite thing about each other?

Evan: I love her smile when we both enjoy a good laugh

Myah: I like how Evan listens to whatever I have to say. Also, I love how kind and dedicated he is to everything. He’s an awesome person.

 

How did you meet?

We have been going to school together since preschool.

 

Where was your first date?

Evan: Oh dang, I can’t remember our first date. However, I vividly remember going to a movie with her. Maybe Fast and Furious in fifth grade?

Myah: We went and saw a movie together. I was really nervous and kept the palms of my hands faced up so they wouldn’t get sweaty.

 

What is one word you would use to describe your partner?

Evan: Remarkable

Myah: Irreplaceable. He’s my only person.

We’ve known each other our whole lives, but we got closer freshman year at the same lunch table.

Caleb: Amazing

Noah: He makes me chicken and rice

Noah: Short

How long have you been besties?

We’ve been friends for five years.

 

What is your favorite thing about each other?

Kayla: We are very weird and a lot of the time other people have no clue what we’re talking about.

Kailinn: My favorite thing about Kayla is even if I am in a bad mood, when I am spending time with her, I am happy. She is extremely funny and can always make me cry with laughter.

 

How did you meet?

The bus, but technically third grade class when we both hated each other. 

 

What do you like to do when spending time together?

We watch movies, dance to our favorite songs, walk to each other’s houses and around the neighborhood, swim in Kayla’s pool, and we cook together (but not very well). 

 

What is one word you would use to describe each other?

Kayla: Indescribable

Kailinn: Affable

 

Teacher couple: Mr. and Mrs. Pickering

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How long have you been together?

Twenty-seven years. We started dating in 1995.

 

What is your favorite thing about each other?

We allow each other to be who we are. We do our own things and enjoy our own hobbies, and we make time for each other.

 

How did you meet?

In high school. Mr. Pickering was my brother’s best friend. I was a sophomore and he was  a senior. 

 

Where was your first date?

Putt putt and ice cream

 

What is one word you would use to describe your partner?

Mrs. Pickering: A saint. He honestly is the sweetest man. I am blessed!
