Both the girl’s and boy’s varsity basketball teams had wins over Carroll on Friday night. The Lady Oracles started off with a score of 48-37 to beat the county rivals. The team was led by Ava Mill’s 13 points and 5 assists; as well with Airy Lattimore’s 12 points and 2 steals. After that, the boys won a nail-biting contest with a final score of 52-50 to beat the Cougars. The Oracles were led by Kaydn McAtee’s 23 points and 3 steals; while Xaine Tessier scored 11 points, including the go-ahead layup with 0.8 seconds left in the game.
