After Winter Break, Delphi Community High School introduced 3 new members to our staff:
Mr. Peebles (A.K.A. Coach)
In the English department, Mr. Peebles takes over the position of Mr. Mroczkiewicz (Mr. M). Graduating from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis; Mr. Peebles received his bachelor’s in Hanover, and his master’s from Waynesburg University. He had been coaching for “6-7 colleges” throughout his career.
Mr. Peebles chose this line of work due to his family, and how most of them became either teachers or coaches. Other than teaching & coaching, Mr. Peebles takes an interest in golfing, and manages his business, Capo Wine Bar, in Lafayette. Delphi was his choice due to proximity, and how he feels there is an opportunity to improve our sports. He wants to let everyone know that he is here to win!
Ms. Howe-Robertson
Taking over the Resource Room is Ms. Howe Robertson! Growing up in Monticello, she graduated from Twin Lakes, and went to Ivy Tech to become a medical assistant. She used to be a substitute & bus driver for 40 years at Twin Lakes, and a driver at Logansport for 10 years. Ms. Howe Robertson originally retired for a couple of years, but she decided to come back into the educational field for Delphi because of her close proximity to the school & her grandson!
Ms. Howe Robertson chose the educational field due to her love of working with kids, and inspiring & motivating them. She spends most of her time with her family, and enjoys the company of her grandchildren. She recommends anyone to talk with her if you feel down, always have confidence within yourself, and to try to pursue something in your life!
Ms. Little
Supervising & overseeing ISS & Study Hall is Ms. Little! As a former graduate of Delphi, she came back due to her familiarity of the area & convenience. With being interested in education; she has previously taught preschool & has been a stay-at-home mom for the past 20 years. She takes an interest in the outdoors. Enjoying activities like fishing & boating with her family. She welcomes all of our students & would enjoy meeting everyone. Let us give her a warm welcome!
