Tyler Ross named All-State

After being removed from the football team in the playoffs during the 2013 season, Tyler Ross knew something needed to change. That something was him. Entering his senior year, Ross had no idea what a great season he was about to have. After recording 44 receptions, 776 total yards, and 8 touchdowns, Ross was honored by being named Associated Press Class 2A First Team All-State.

Ross averaged over 30 yards on kickoff returns and also added one defensive touchdown. Ross’ other awards this season include team MVP, First Team All Hoosier Conference, and Indiana Football Coaches 2A First Team All-State.

Coach Strasser said, “Tyler’s selfless attitude, perfect summer attendance, and hard work ethic are all reasons why he is becoming one of the most decorated football players in Delphi history.”
