Last Wednesday, I came home from school with a very specific craving: a Reese’s milkshake. I didn’t want to leave my house again to go get one, so I decided to make my own from home. When the milkshake was completed, I realized it was a lot easier to make than I’d initially thought it would be. Feeling inspired, I dug a little bit deeper and found five really easy milkshake recipes that you can make from home . . .starting with my own legendary Reese’s milkshake!

  1. Reese’s Milkshake

Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 Reese’s cups chopped into quarters

Directions:

In a blender, combine the scoops of vanilla ice cream and cups of milk. After that is blended thoroughly, add the Reese’s cups. When it is blended to your liking, pour the mixture into a tall glass and enjoy!

  1. S’mores Milkshake

Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 graham cracker, slightly crushed
  • 1 spoonful of marshmallow creme
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips

Directions:

Combine the ice cream and milk in a blender and blend until smooth. Next, add in the marshmallow creme and graham cracker. Lastly, blend in the chocolate chips. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy a delicious milkshake that will remind you of summer nights sitting by the campfire!

  1. Oreo Milkshake

Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 Oreo cookies

Directions:

Using a blender, combine milk and ice cream until your preferred consistency is met. Then, add in the Oreos and continue blending. Pour the combination into a large glass, add a straw, and enjoy milk’s favorite cookie in a milkshake!

  1. Classic Chocolate Milkshake

Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup

Directions:

You know the drill! Blend the vanilla ice cream, milk, and chocolate syrup together until smooth. Pour into a large glass, add a straw, and place a maraschino cherry on top. Yummy!

If you are lactose intolerant or dairy sensitive, I’m sure you’re sick and tired of reading this article. However, don’t leave just yet! I have the perfect shake for you:

  1. Banana peanut butter shake

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen
  • 1/4 cup dairy-free milk
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • Dairy free chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:

Blend banana, milk, and peanut butter in a blender until creamy and chunk-free. If using dairy-free chocolate chips, add those in next and blend until the chips are the size you prefer. Pour into a tall glass, add a straw, and enjoy a discomfort-free shake!
