Drama department prepares for musical production

Thursday, Dec. 9 from 6 PM to 8 PM, the drama department is hosting an audition workshop in the Little Theater. At the event, students will learn some acting tips, how to choose the right song, and a short dance routine for the audition. Auditions for this year’s musical, SpongeBob the Musical, will be held on Monday, Dec. 13 in the high school band room, and Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 6 PM to 8 PM in the Little Theater. At the audition, students will do a cold reading of a scene, sing their chosen song, and perform a short dance routine. The audition sign up sheet will be in the library after Thanksgiving break. The cast list for production will be posted on Friday, Dec. 17.
