Waiting… one of Ryan Reynolds first movies is a disgustingly hilarious movie about ordinary waiters in an ordinary restaurant, one problem with that, the waiters aren’t exactly… ordinary. Coming out in 2005 and made by director Rob McKittrick, the synopsis is a restaurant called Shenaniganz, (aptly named as you will see), with the various personalities working there. From Dean, who seeks to be more than just a regular waiter, to Monty, played by Ryan Reynolds, who is a creep and a jerk, to the cooking staff who are just plain mean, all the way to the new guy, who has to put up with everyone’s oddities while not being able to get in a single word. I personally enjoyed this movie greatly and have watched it many times, but it has very crude humor and it might not be for everyone. So if you want something a little more professional in humor you’re in the wrong place. It is rated R and contains things not appropriate for the whole family, but if you get permission, you should definitely check it out. I’d give this one a 9/10.
