Halloween Story
It was a dark stormy night outside and it was Halloween Night. Everyone was trick and treating at peoples housing and knocking at their doors. But there was this one house that no one went to because it looked scary with cobwebs, caution tape and a scary woman outside. Then one kid decided to go up the house and knock on the house while everyone was behind him staring with big eyes wanting to know what would happen to him. The door creaked open with a human that looked weird with stitches and bruises around her face. Everyone behind the boy screamed and yelled and screamed.
While the boy said “Trick or treat!”
The woman opened the door and yelled “Get off my porch!”
The woman scared everyone when she screamed. Someone pointed out her horns and the woman quickly shut the door and put her hat back on. Everyone was shocked when they saw the horns and didn’t come close to the house. The human name was Octro and was a Devil that used to rule Halloween. She was not a mean devil, she was a healing one but everyone thought she was evil and hated kids. Octro actually loved kids but had to pretend to hate them so the other demons wouldn’t take her crown as “Queen Octro the ruler of demon land.” Octro got out of her house and into the backyard, She used her wings and tried to fly up but her wings didn’t heal after getting them shot at. That didn’t stop Octro from trying though.
She went back inside and sat in her bed and started to heal her own wings, The wings grew back and they stretched open. Octro knew it was time to start flying back to her land where the demons betrayed her and shot her wings, when she was trying to escape. She headed to the “demon land” first thing in the morning but she decided to not go and stay there. Next thing she knew kids were knocking on their door giggling and laughing.
“Trick or treat!” the kids said giggling
Octro gave them candy and the kids said “Thank you!”
Octro started to be nicer to kids and hide her horns and wings. When she found out the kids were doing trick or treating she started to smile and had an idea. Her idea was that her horns and wings will be a part of her “costume” so she put a nice black dress on and a veil over her horns. When she stepped out of her house, all the kids were staring at her with big eyes. She walked past the road until a car came zooming towards her and she stopped it with just her fingertip, all the kids and even parents were staring at her in shock. Octro went to the store and brought all the candy in the store. She then went up on a stand and dumped a big bag of candy down to all the kids. All the kids rushed to collect the candy with their candy sacks.
All the kids said “Thank You”
Octro said “Your Welcome”
All the kids liked Octro and the parents don’t think Octro is a evil devil anymore and think she is nice now. Octro stayed in the town and lived in her house for ten years. Until there were kids going to Octros’ door and they knocked. Octro wasn’t there, her old friends flew to the kids and took them away.

Nobody
Waking up on the night before halloween, I was very excited for tomorrow. I started to think about my route to get the most candy possible. I went downstairs and saw my mom.
“Hi mom,” I said while creeping down the stairs.
“Hello, sweetie,”
“Are you almost finished making my costume?”
“Yeah I’m almost done,” She said while making some pumpkin pie for the halloween party later this evening. I walked outside, almost every house in our small town had halloween decorations set up. I walked up through the town and looked at the houses with the most decorations. “These are the ones I’m gonna hit first,” I thought to myself as I looked around at the houses on the road. Suddenly I felt tired. I thought that it must be from how excited I’ve been today. I walked back home and went upstairs to my bed. I fell asleep.
As I woke up, I realized that it was night. “I must have overslept,” I thought, as I got up from my bed. I walked downstairs, and saw a note on the counter. I will be back in a bit! -mom. As I read it I wondered, why did she not tell me that she’s going somewhere last night. I looked up at the clock hanging on the wall. It read 5pm. “What! It shouldn’t be this dark at five!” I walked out the door, and texted my mom where she was. There was no response. The streets were dark and lonely. There was nobody.
I walked through the dark streets. I felt something looming over me, a presence, of something, I just didn’t know what. Seeing my entire town barren and empty made a looming dread fall over me. I walked into the convenience store near my house, but still, nobody was there. I decided to spend the night at the store. When I arised the sun wasn’t there, only the moon. Today was halloween.
After grabbing some snacks from the shelves, I got up, and left the store. While walking through the streets, the looming presence from before felt larger than ever. For the first time, I looked behind me. A large slender creature with gleaming black skin was standing over me. I ran as fast as I could. The creature grabbed my hand and ripped off a finger In one pull. I ran into my house and locked the door. The creaking of the creature’s long, sharp fingernails cutting through the wood of my door, rushed fear into me as I rushed to find something to stop my hand from bleeding. But while I was scurrying the creature broke in. I looked at the creature, and it vanished, and the morning sun finally came back up. I looked at my phone and saw a new text message from mom, “Hello sweetie, I just went to take the dog out for a walk, be back in a bit.”
Upon walking outside my home I realized that nobody was there. I grabbed my head and started ripping out hair, clump by clump, my hair fell down from my head. I screamed out into the world “Why, why must you do this to me!” I banged my head against the pavement, over and over, until I blacked out.
My eyes hurt as the sun blasted on my body. I was in bed. “Sweetie, you really need to wake up, it halloween!” I walked down the stairs and ate a slice of pumpkin pie. My finger was still gone.

The Possessed Rubber Ducky
It was Halloween night, and everybody was out and running around, going to people’s houses and either handing out candy or getting candy in their bucket. It was cold and windy and there was a full moon outside. But there’s this one girl who would never go outside on Halloween night because she thought it wasn’t fun anymore. When it was Halloween she would always play with this one special rubber ducky. She loved that rubber ducky like it was her own child.
Guess who is telling this story ? Me!
“Hi, I’m Isabella I’m not afraid of anything even if you try I won’t even flinch.
This is my best friend Ryah. She is scared of everything in the world. She’s scared of spiders, beetle’s, ants, even my toy rubber ducky. She is so scared to be out by herself on halloween night. So sense I won’t ever go she will go with her new boyfriend. I’m happy for her but he’s so annoying and he’s like the most popular guy in school.
Ryah said “ Hey, are you going trick or treating this year my boyfriend won’t be there and as you know I’m not going by myself.”
Me “ Well you know I haven’t gone trick or treating for two years.”
Ryah “ Ya but just go with me tonight because I don’t wanna go alone.”Plus, what if someone bullies me you never know.”
Me “ Nobody is going to even get near you. And I guess I’ll go but just remember that I’m only going because you are begging me this time.”
Ryah ” great.”
As she walks to my bed she automatically stairs at my toy rubber duck. Yes, I was spying on her, but only because of her reaction to the duck. But when I saw her she just laid on the pellow and died. I ran out of the restroom and went to see what happened. I looked at the duck and its eyes were red and it was moving towards me. I was scared and didn’t know what to do so I just moved backwards on the bed. The duck was talking but it was quiet then it got louder and louder. The duck said “here you go mommy your dinner for tonight you’re welcome.” I screamed and I said to myself, “wait it called me mommy?” I told the duck that I could’ve made it some food. But you didn’t need to kill my best friend. Then I looked at her and started crying.
The duck was doing something to her when I stopped and sat down next to her. The duck told me that “ I’m going to heal her.”
I couldn’t talk so he said he was healing her. I was relieved but confused about how he was even a living rubber duck. As he was healing her I just stared at him and was about to ask what his name was. Until Ryah woke up.
Me “ Ryah are you okay I was so upset and scared and I didn’t know what to do.”
Ryah “ No I’m not ok, that rubber duck made me fall asleep.”
Me “ Umm, wait a minute where did he go.”
After we were confused about his disappearance we took off to go trick or treating. Two years later we had the best lifes and we forgot all about the rubber duck. Until he’s back in my room today!

The Twisted Mind of Randagio Errore
The crows crooned the hum of a deathly malady. The crisp wind brushed through a man’s long black hair. His blue eyes scanned the darkened room. He sat up from his spot in the corner and attempted to walk over all the bodies. The smell of rotting flesh filled the room with a horrid stench that seemed to have layered everything there. Randagio Errore sighed before taking a bite out of one of the body’s arms—the sound of blood and flesh squelching between sharp teeth. Though he wasn’t of the vampire species, he still yearned for the taste of fresh blood. The hills are left quiet for another family has been slaughtered in vain.
In a cradle gilded, they are left to rot yet never bleed. That was the phrase Randagio Errore’s mother had told him just before her head had gotten blown off. He still remembers to this day that that is the reason why he began eating human flesh. For he had even eaten his own mother out of starvation. The will to survive is the only thing Randagio cares about, besides The Swan. Though dead (and also consumed), he is still madly in love with her, almost as if they had been partners since the dawn of time. She was a lovely woman with dark brown hair and eyes like the forest. Her skin felt like the calm ocean breeze, except that all ended. She was stabbed in the nape of her neck by none other than Randagio himself. He had felt a terrible burden on his back ever since that day, and from then on, a large crow followed him in his travels.
Randagio took out a pen and paper. His quill wrote along the parchment as he ate, describing the flavors.
I don’t understand why humans frown upon such a meal.
Suddenly Randagio heard whispering. He looked around, seeing shadow figures at the corners of his eye. Their whispers started getting louder, soon turning into loud shouting. Randagio began to hyperventilate, panicking as the souls of the dead began to punish him once more. The shouts turned to blood-wrenching screams. Then they stopped.
Randagio pulled out his dagger and went to where the screams came from. His chest heaved as his lanky body swayed in the corridors.
“Hello?” Randagio said, shakily.
The screams started again, even louder. Randagios’s eardrums burst, and blood began to seep out. Randagio took the dagger to his arm, stabbing repeatedly until the wound made him faint.
Randagio Errore woke up in what looked like a hospital cot. A nurse walked in, her sunken face indicating worry.
“Don’t be startled; you are safe. This is The Mombello Psychiatric Hospital, in Limbiate, Italy,” the nurse said calmly.
“You were diagnosed with an extreme case of Schizophrenia. The people who found you said that you were the man killing all these people. I’m afraid it’s already decided that you will be put to death”, The nurse sighed, checking the wound on his arm.
“Can you remember your name?”
Randagio looked around. The buzzing lights made his head hurt. He winced at the bright lights before settling down.
“Randagio Errore”, Randagio said
“Good.” The nurse looked at his vitals one more time before exiting the room.
Months later, Randagio Dolce Errore sat against the guillotine. A priest knelt to Randagio.
“My child, do you have any final words to the lord you would like to say?”
“Si. Tell him that, like him, I choose to burn out rather than fade away.” With that, Randagio was beheaded.

The Missing Husband
My husband has been missing for 13 years now. One day he went out to fetch some groceries and never came back. There was no trace left behind. The car was left at the grocery store and cops had searched a 50 mile radius around the town. My husband wasn’t the fittest as could be, so there’s no way he could’ve run more than 50 miles from town. He can barely even run 10 miles.
The cops investigated nearly everyone who lived in Malsbury and the town next to us, Salisbury. According to the people, they saw him walk in the store, and he talked to a woman who goes by Susie. They looked back at the cameras from the stores; they saw him park his car, go inside, and laugh with Susie. But, once he got in the store, there was no other footage of him.
The case went cold after three years. I mean there wasn’t a case to really begin with besides the fact he was missing, and his car was left at the grocery store. There was little to no evidence; it just seemed as if my husband disappeared into thin air. Cops asked if he knew anyone outside of town or in town that could’ve picked him up and left town.
I knew my husband wouldn’t flee the town without me knowing who he’d be with, so I told the cops ,
“No , he didn’t know anyone. Whoever I knew ,he knew and whoever he knew, I knew. We told each other everything and he wouldn’t have just left without leaving me a message or a call.”
“Well, were there any fights before his disappearance?” the cop asked with a questioning tone.
“We rarely fought, I mean about a month ago we had a fight but it was just minor.” I told him with certainty.
“What was the fight about , if you don’t mind me asking?” The cop raised an eyebrow.
“When he’s late to places, we need to be, he gets upset, and we had a fight about us being late to my cousin’s wedding. It was only 5 minutes or so that we were late. It wasn’t a biggy.” I said in a calm tone.
“Oh, well then have a nice day, ma’am. We’ll call you if anything comes up.” The cops walked away.
Then 13 years pass and still nothing. People would call me on my phone and the landline acting as if they were my husband. The last time this happened was a couple months ago. But as soon I got the cops involved I had no more callers. In my house next to the landline there are pictures on the wall of my husband and me.
I love my husband for his looks, but I also loved him for the way he smiled. He would have one dimple on the left side of his face when he’d smirk at me. His eyes are what made me fall in love with him. They had green, blue, and brown. He had this freckle in one of his eyes. He always had a clean shaven beard with a sharp jawline. He would make a room light up with his splendiferous personality. He was like a sunflower in a garden of roses. He always gave everyone a welcoming feeling. When I lost him, I lost myself. He was my other half. We were soulmates. I loved Drew (which was my husband’s name) so dearly. But I knew that just by looking at a picture on the wall, it wouldn’t make the phone ring and it would be my husband. “Ring, Ring, Ring” I thought it was my cellular phone, but no, it was the home phone. No one usually calls me on that phone. I look at the number and it says “Unknown Caller”.
I started to get anxious. I answered the phone, it wasn’t connecting yet so when I was about to hang up I heard,
“Hello, this is Drew. I’ve been trying to call you.” In the background I could hear faint noises.
“This isn’t Drew, my husband vanished. People just can’t leave a grieving wife alone! Now leave me alone, this isn’t funny.” I hung up before the man could speak.
I look back at the picture, then walk upstairs. Today had been a long and exhausting day, so I went to bed. “Ring, Ring,Ring” I woke up thinking it was my alarm I set for the morning. I looked at the time, it was only 3:23AM it couldn’t have been my alarm. I set it for 6. I go downstairs and without remembering the caller from earlier, I pick up the phone.
“Hello, who is this?” I say with confusion.
“It’s me Drew, I’ve been trying to call you.” a man said
“Did I not make myself clear? Leave me alone. My husband is dead.” I said to the fake caller. I hung up again before the man could finish. No one has gone this far. I went back upstairs and got into bed, but it took me a while to close my eyes. I finally closed my eyes, and “Ring, Ring, Ring” I got up out of bed and I answered the phone.
I heard rustling in the background and whispers. “Hello, it’s Drew. I’ve been trying to call you. Please, help me. I don’t know where I’m at. It’s me, your husband, Zoe it’s me. Please believe me.” The man repeated this three times. I could hear his sorrow and worry in his voice.
“I-I-I know this isn’t my husband. You’re an imposter. Please, stop calling me. Leave me alone.” I started trembling and tears went down my cheek.
“Hello, this is Drew, I’ve been trying to call you.” the man wouldn’t stop.
“Don’t call this number again!” I picked up the house phone and chucked it on the ground. It shattered into pieces. I decided to get a new house phone, because my parents can only call me on landlines. It had been a few weeks since the number called, I didn’t think they’d call me again because of the new number.
I invited my best friend over, because she can bake the best. We used to bake every weekend, but that was before my husband had gone missing. I told her we needed to start hanging out more and bake more. She came over and we baked. I brought up the caller, and she told me to tell them if they don’t stop, you’ll involve the police.
My friend then went home. “Ring, Ring, Ring” I heard my landline ringing. But how could they find my new number, I thought to myself. it must be my parents calling. I pick up the phone and I hear rustling and whispers once again. “Hello, it’s me Drew. I’ve been trying to call you. It’s me, your husband.” I then asked the man only something my husband would know. “If you are Drew and in fact are my husband, what is something I’ve told no one but you.” I was waiting for the man to reply.
“Your actual name is Lilly, your parents aren’t your real parents, and you have a fake eye.” the man said with confidence.
“B-bu-but” I knew this man wasn’t my husband because I killed my actual husband. He would always be talking to our neighbor, and I knew he was having an affair with her. I just loved him so much I didn’t want to lose my charm. So I knew that if I killed him he’d be mine forever. “Knock, Knock, Knock” I heard from my door. “Hello, it’s Drew. I’ve been trying to get in. It’s me Zoe, your husband.”

Halloween Nightmare
On a bone-chilling Halloween night, as I made my way home after a successful round of trick-or-treating, an eerie sensation crept over me. Walking past the dimly lit houses, a figure in a window caught my eye. Their appearance was deeply unsettling—damp jet-black hair, ashen skin, blood-red lips, and instead of eyes, there were just empty voids of darkness. I quickened my pace, hoping to shake off the unnerving feeling.
Upon arriving home, I greeted my father, but my attention was immediately drawn back to the window where I saw the same disquieting figure again. The red on their lips seemed to glisten like freshly spilled blood this time. Alarmed, I alerted my father, but when he looked, the figure had vanished. Ignoring his advice to focus on the movie, I ventured outside.
As I entered the night, the figure appeared closer, intensifying my fear. Unable to contain my unease, I blurted out, “What are you?”
The figure responded, “I am… you.”
Terrified, I fled into the woods, desperate to escape. However, the figure seemed to be everywhere. The world around me turned crimson, and in a panic, I realized I was engulfed in an overwhelming redness, unable to discern anything – not even the trees or myself.
Feeling disoriented and lost, uncertain what to do or where I was, I noticed something in the distance. Hoping it was someone or something that could help me escape this nightmarish place, I walked toward it, my heart pounding in my chest.
It’s a girl! My heart slowed down. As I looked at her, she looked back at me. We exchanged glances filled with hope. She began to speak. “My name is Laurie.”
I told her my name. “My name is Luna. Do you know where we are?” She admitted that she had no idea where we were, and then we heard a loud voice, seemingly emanating from everywhere.
“Hello Laurie,” the voice spoke, and Laurie’s complexion changed; she looked unwell. Her skin turned pale, her eyes melting away, and her light brown hair darkened to black. She was transforming into that sinister figure. It was taking her over.
I attempted to flee, but the surroundings were all red. Every step, every turn, led me further into the crimson abyss. Was I trapped here forever? Would I ever see my family again?
As Laurie pursued me, the redness began to fade. Was the world returning to normal? Laurie shouted something, but I paid no attention and ran toward the road. BAM!
Beep beep beep, I struggled to open my eyes, but they refused to cooperate. I could hear people talking my Dad! “Don’t die, Luna, please.” I could tell he was crying. Then I heard a different voice, and my heart sank. “She will not die, I know, Luna.” It was Laurie’s voice. My eyes shot open, scanning the room. I tried to speak, but my dad was talking over me.
The doctor entered the room and inquired whether I remembered what had happened before the car accident. I recounted the events. Everyone in the room regarded me as if I were out of my mind. “But it happened,” I pleaded. No one would listen. I was the only one who knew what had transpired in that Halloween nightmare.
