DCHS students and staff look forward to spring break
Something that brings warmth, green-leafed trees, lots and lots of allergies, and the smell of fresh, cut grass is coming soon. So, what is that “something?” SPRING. Yes, folks, spring is just right around the corner and the treacherous cold and snow will be gone for another few months. Soon, many of our students and faculty will be heading either out-of-state or straight into their bed watching Netflix for spring break. So, where are some of our students/faculty going this year?
Señora Hollingsworth: “I am going to Hawaii to celebrate my anniversary with my husband.”
Ethan Randle: “I am going to New York City to sitesee.”
Jadon Kinzie: “Fort Myers is where I am heading. I’m going to hangout on the beach.”
Keeley Mundell: “I am planning on going to Chicago to visit the museum and shop at the mall.”
Christian Shockley: “I’m planning on staying home, sleeping in, and going to work.”
Jaden Long: “I am going to Fort Myers, Florida and swimming in the ocean.”
Gabe Wilson: “I am going on a cruise to Mexico with a friend.”
Abril Cepeda: “I am going back to my old hometown near Boston, Massachusetts to visit some old friends.”
Chase Hughes: “I am going to stay in a cabin in Gatlinburg, Tennessee to visit and hangout with my friends.”
Whether you’re leaving the state or just hanging around at home, I hope your spring break is the best one yet. Spring break takes place March 23 through April 1st this year. Please, be careful and most importantly, have a great break.
