Boys swim team ends a strong season
The boys Oracle swim team competed in sectionals last Thursday and Saturday, and for most of the swimmers this ended their season. The team of eight boys spent a majority of the season competing against larger teams, and the boys worked hard each meet to come out on top despite this.
At the sectional meet the team was outnumbered by seven other teams, and matched in numbers by another two. The talent of the team as a whole, however, elevated the team to finishing in 4th place out of the 14 teams there. Led by seniors Dakota Titus, Maguire Thompson, Cooper Cross, and Elliott Kelly, the talented squad has bested many other schools’ boys teams including Lafayette Jefferson and our rival school Carroll.
The boys final placements in Saturday’s finals competition were as follows.
