Burns a state qualifier

DCHS senior swimmer Cameron Burns recently qualified for the state finals in the 100 yard butterfly. Burns’ sectional winning time of 53.32 seconds qualified him for the state meet held at the IU Natatorium on IUPUI’s campus on Saturday, March 1. At the state meet Burns swam just a shade slower, 54.57 seconds, to officially finish 34th in the state.
