Roseanne makes a comeback
Roseanne is back. Producers from ABC family have revived the once beloved show and now it has reclaimed its glory. Roseanne first premiered on October 18, 1988 and ran until May 20, 1997, with nine seasons total. The tenth season was released on March 27, 2018.
All of the original cast members returned: Roseanne Barr (Roseanne Conner) , John Goodman (Dan Conner), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie Harris), and Sara Gilbert (Darlene Conner) to name a few. The premiere had 27.26 million total viewers, the largest total viewer increase for any single telecast on any network.
Roseanne is about a middle class American family that is trying to make ends meet in Lanford, Illinois. Fans state they love the realistic portrayal of what true American families look like. In the final season, season nine, however, the family won the lottery, and a family member died (John Goodman). Due to these happenings, the final season is infamous to fans, and because of this, writers have completely disregarded the final season ending, and season ten has a resurrection as well as other intriguing surprises.
