Fans gear up for “The Voice” Season 11
It’s that time of the year again, folks. Time to gear up for two days a week jam-packed with shocking chair turns, a playlist full of the covers from your favorite artists, and the occasional cute bromance moment from your favorites and mine: Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, also known by their ship name as “Shevine.” (cute, right?)
This season’s set to be a real blockbuster with superstars Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus joining veterans Levine and Shelton on the coaches’ panel, making this the first ever season where two women have coached simultaneously. With Cyrus already donning the position as mentor last year and Levine and Shelton being with the show since its premiere in 2011, one can argue that Keys has a bit of catching up to do, but in terms of success, they’re all on the same level, and that’s the very top. Regardless of all factors, season 11 is ushering in a new era of “The Voice.”
Also joining season 11 will be Charlie Puth, Bette Midler, Sammy Hagar, and Joan Jett who will be serving as key advisors for a respective coach come the battle rounds.
The show has already kicked off auditions for the upcoming season. According to various reports, the 17-year-old daughter of “Fuller House” star Candace Cameron Bure, Natasha, is set to audition for the show. Season 11 is also expected to honor “The Voice” alum Christina Grimmie, who was shot dead at her concert in June.
“The Voice” premieres Sept. 19 on NBC.
