Frozen yogurt trend hits Delphi
Residents of Delphi will be happy to hear that the frozen yogurt trend has finally made its way here. “Blue Moose,” with its quirky motif and carnival themed snacks, has already greatly impacted this small town despite only being open for a few weeks. Although construction was still underway, Blue Moose held its grand opening during The Old Settlers Festival, drawing in hundreds of customers eager to try out Delphi’s hot, new destination.
Now to the most important part, the yogurt. With Blue Moose’s cool and refreshing atmosphere, comes cool and refreshing frozen yogurt flavors. Ranging from birthday cake, to cotton candy, to mango sorbet, to chocolate and more, Blue Moose satisfies customers from all sides of the flavor spectrum. Also as a unique feature, if you don’t see your flavor craving one night, stop in the next night because flavors are changing daily. To compliment the yogurt, Blue Moose also offers snacks such as pretzels and nachos, and due to its convenient location on the square, outdoor seating is available as well.
After you’ve picked your yogurt of choice, it’s time to pile on the goodies. An endless variety of toppings are lined along an island in the middle of the shop. With options such as fresh fruits, Nerds candy, and sour gummy worms, the combinations are limitless.
As a new addition to the trendy new hangout, Blue Moose will be welcoming cash registers and scales this week. Also to accommodate all your technology needs, they are now equipped with free WIFI and a television.
Blue Moose is currently being widely enjoyed by the general public. Delphi resident Tosha Hankins posted on the Blue Moose page: “I’ve been uber excited for you to open up, and now that you’re open…. I may go broke. It was WONDERFUL tonight! Can’t wait to enjoy many evenings with family and friends here!!!” The owners, replied via Facebook: “We can’t believe how excited people are. This is so amazing.” If you haven’t treated yourself to a wonderful dessert at Blue Moose, now’s the time to do it!
