Delphi Opera House presents “A Christmas Carol”

On Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3:00 pm, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will be performed at the Delphi Opera House.

Everyone knows the story of cranky old Scrooge learning the true meaning of Christmas with the help of three ghostly companions and the influence of familial love. The beloved tale has been made into movies, and the Indiana Repertory Theatre shows it every year around Christmas time. However, the Delphi Opera House version will present a unique experience.

The venue itself, which was originally constructed in the 1960s, will help transport theatre-goers to 1800s Dickens era, and the interesting layout of the theatre allows for the actors to move about the audience. Christmas songs will be sung and elegant dances will be danced. A Christmas Carol, directed by Kyle Borcz, will be an event for people of all ages.

Tickets are available to order at the Box Office and are available at the door. Floor seats are $10. Balcony seats are $25. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
