Don’t adjust your eyeballs, folks! You heard it right—former PEOPLE’s “Sexiest Man Alive” and Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo are seeing pink, and yes, the news is sweet as “sugar” (I had to get my one musical pun in there.)

Levine broke the news Friday when he stopped by Live! With Kelly and Michael. “I’m about to be a dad. I’m super pumped,” the Maroon 5 frontman said about first-time fatherhood. Later on in the interview, Levine revealed the sex of the baby. “I’m having a girl,” he said proudly as a smile graced his features. When asked about how his Namibian-born wife was holding up, Levine revealed her No.1 craving. No, it’s not the conventional cookies, ice cream, or chocolate, it’s watermelon. The true testament of a supermodel, let me tell you. “Maybe she just, like, really likes watermelon. I mean, it’s delicious. I’m glad it’s not, like, pickles or some weird thing.”

Of course, the other half of the 5-year bromance, Blake Shelton, had to give his thoughts on Levine’s impending fatherhood.  “I’m looking forward to Adam actually having to wake up before noon or one o’clock for the first time in his life, you know, to go change a diaper. I think it’s going to be good for him. I think the baby is going to do more for Adam than Adam is going to do for the baby, I’ll put it to you that way. I’m very happy for him,” Shelton joked. Other Voice coaches weighed in on Levine’s big news saying that they were “extremely happy for him” and that they think he’s going to be a “great dad.”

Prinsloo and Levine are coming up on their second wedding anniversary in July and have been trying to have a baby for a very long time. Levine often accentuates his desire for a large family. “We’re definitely going to do it. I want to have 100 kids. I want to have more kids than would be socially responsible. [I want] like, 17. Is that reasonable? I love kids so much though,” he joked during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show in 2014.

Well, 1 kid or 17, long-time fans like myself cannot wait to see Levine grow up a little bit, not too much though. As we wait for the beautiful arrival of the little girl who’s already got Levine wrapped around her little finger, one thing’s for certain: she will be loved.
