What are you thankful for?
Thanksgiving—the time of the year to gather up the entire family, eat too much food, and give thanks for a variety of reasons. There is a multitude of answers as to what it is you can be thankful for. You can be thankful for your health, your family, your friends, and, all in all, your life. Thanksgiving is one of the most important and thoughtful of holidays.
I asked a few people what and who they are thankful for this year and here are their answers:
Caydence McClain: I am thankful for my family because when it all comes down to it, and no matter what happens it’s your family who is still there.
Maddy Sutton: I am thankful for food, my family and friends, and Emily Jakes who loves to annoy me.
Colton Britton: I am thankful for this past soccer season. We made it to sectionals this year and I’ve learned a lot.
Tori Nacke: I am thankful for my wonderful family who loves me. Oh… and pizza!
Senora Hollingsworth: I am thankful for my family, friends, and chai lattes.
Mrs. Perry: I am thankful for my family and all of their craziness. I am thankful that I get to work with such a dynamic group of people. I am thankful for my hardworking office aides and the entertainment they provide.
This Thanksgiving, think about the meaning of this holiday, let your loved ones know that you are thankful for them, and then fill up to the max on turkey, stuffing, and pie! Happy Thanksgiving!
