It’s graduation day. Everyone is smiling and reminiscing with friends and family. As you look through the crowd, you come upon a girl who clearly has a story to tell. Her name is Jade Butterworth and she is gorgeous. A girl with so much potential and so much life in her eyes. You come to find out, though, that Jade (Gabriella Wilde) is not just another girl, and her family is just not the same as the rest of those families at the ceremony. Endless Love tells you the story of this young girl’s life.
After the scene is set, we are introduced to David. David (Alex Pettyfer) begins to introduce us to his personal experiences, and also the story behind the Butterworths. Jade and her family have experienced one of the most tragic incidents that a family can go through: Jade lost her brother, and her parents had lost their child.
This beautiful love story is about two young individuals who have a love that they find worth fighting for. However, Jade’s father could not disagree more. Digging up facts of David’s past leads her father to fight against everything that the couple shares. The class difference is a very obvious dispute as well with her father. Even at the darkest moments though true love is able to persist and find its way.
Overall, I found Endless Love to be an absolute must-see. For guys who are weary to see this sappy love story there is also a small amount of action packed into this film. Even though Valentine’s weekend has come to a close, any day would be a good day to take a trip to your local cinema with your significant other, friends, or family members to see this heart-warming movie.
