Mrs Wagner is the new Health Sciences teacher at Delphi. She grew up in Camden and has many roots here. She received her healthcare degree from Marian, and her teaching degree from Purdue. She actually used to teach the 5th grade at Delphi Elementary School, as well as working for public health at White County. In college, she decided to become a teacher her freshman year and wanted to teach her current class about a month ago. She is married and has a son in 6th grade, a 3 year old son, and a girl coming in October. Her hobbies include cruises, music, sports, travel, spending time with family, and watching a good movie. She actually had lots of teachers who still teach here including Mrs. Carpenter, Mr Gilbert, Mrs. Hollingsworth, Mrs. Isaacs, Mr Tonsoni, and Mrs. Tonsoni. She is an assistant coach for Softball, and used to coach Volleyball and Cheerleading. The thing she would like you to know about her is that she loves watching Friends and Big Brother, as well as that Christmas is her favorite time of the year. Ms. Young
Ms. Young is the new Culinary Arts teacher. She did not graduate from college but did attend Ball State for a number of years. Before working at DCHS, she actually was a teachers assistant down at DCES. She used to be a sous chef at Purdue and worked at both 811 and 501 bistro. She is not married but does have a daughter. She grew up in Lafayette and decided to work here as her daughter goes here and also enjoyed her time as an assistant teacher. Her hobbies include, strongman (weight lifting), reading, cooking, and hiking. She would like you to know that her class is a safe space. Lets give a warm welcome to Ms. Young!
Mr. Rans
Mr. Rans is the new Chemistry and Earth & Space Science teacher at Delphi! He is from Burnetsville, Indiana and graduated from Twin Lakes High school. He got his Bachelor’s degree at Ball State and chose to come to Delphi to stay close to home. Mr. Rans is an astronomy fan, likes reading, and enjoys watching TV shows. He decided to become a teacher during his time in college, whilst studying in a different field.
Mr. Snow
Mr. Snow is our new Welding & Manufacturing teacher! Growing up in Monticello, and graduating from Twin Lakes High School; Mr. Snow has been married for over 33 years! With 17 years of experience at Girtz Industries doing general supervision; Mr. Snow decided to teach here at Delphi for his love of teaching people to weld. He loves fishing, hunting, and racing! He encourages our students to ask him anything.
Mr. Gottshall
Mr. Gottshall is our new Computer Science teacher! As a DCHS alumni, Mr. Gottshall returned to Delphi after graduating from Indiana University Kokomo. Growing up in Camden, Mr. Gottshall has previous experience as a tutor at IUK, and does theater in his free time. As teaching came naturally to him; Mr. Gottshall committed to becoming a teacher. He now teaches Computers Science & Digital Forensics, and encourages our students to join his class!
Mrs. Miller
Mrs. Miller is the new Personal Finance and Management Fundamentals teacher at Delphi! She graduated from American Intercontinental University, and has had a variety of different jobs; including being the previous Guided Study teacher at Delphi. She lives in Lafayette, Indiana, is married, and has 5 kids. She chose Delphi because her children were enrolled at Delphi and enjoyed the smaller school. She likes to do hair styling and crafting in her free time. She decided to become a teacher as the opportunity came up for a teaching position.
Ms. Baldini
Another recent addition to the wonderful staff of our very own Delphi Community High School is Ms. Baldini. Prior to this school year, she has been the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach. Now, she has taken the role of ISS Supervisor, which means that she will be using her room for issuing in-school suspensions.
She graduated from Manchester University and has experience working in the Delphi Corporation prior to her role now at the high school, as well as experience at Twin Lakes High School. Speaking of Twin Lakes, Ms. Baldini attended there for her early education, as she grew up in Monticello.
She is interested in playing and coaching volleyball, quality time with the people she cares about, and Purdue Sports. Ms. Baldini would like to encourage our students at Delphi to leave their comfort zones.
