Silent Trump protest sweeps the nation
With the election done and over (finally), the voices of many are being heard louder than ever before. While some are displaying their rage and anger quite publically, others, like myself, are participating in a rather silent show of solidarity, and they are doing it by simply wearing a safety pin. Minorities, women, the LGBT community, and any others that feel threatened by a future with Donald J. Trump at the helm are gathering together in a show of unity against a future filled with bigotry, hatred, and misogyny. The safety pin is a symbol of togetherness that combines people from all walks of life after an election that has left us completely divided. If you feel compelled to join this silent movement, all you have to do is wear a safety pin along with your normal attire. It’s a silent, but telling action, and believe me, people will notice.
