“Don’ts” of fashion

Fashion is a way to express yourself and feel confident. There are no rules to the way you dress, but there are personal preferences and guidelines. For example, a personal “don’t” of mine is mixing patterns. I think when an outfit involves more than one pattern or print, it becomes too “busy”, and there is too much to look at. Another rule I live by is rolling pants that are too long. When long pants are left bunched at your ankles, they look like they are the wrong size. I also believe that wearing running shoes with a more dressy outfit looks strange. Fashion is whatever you make it, but sometimes having rules helps keep your outfits looking spiffy.
