Dagger Hill

Dagger Hill

Dagger Hill by Devon Taylor is another one of this years’ Rosie nominees. The novel takes place in the summer of 1989 and is told from the perspective of four best friends: Gabe, Kimberly, Charlie, and Sonya. They promise to enjoy their last summer together and that no matter what they will find their way back to each other. However, their promises fall short when a plane crashes right on top of them at their favorite hangout spot. Gabe, Sonya, and Charlie soon realize that the crash was no accident and are now being hunted by a sinister presence. This book took me forever to get into, and for those heavy into 80’s themed sci-fi and horror, I would strongly recommend this book to you. But for me, it wasn’t my favorite book, but by no means is it my least favorite. (3.8/5 stars on Goodreads)
