Bracketology Club making headlines

Bracketology is a club made up of high school students and teachers that are interested in the statistics of the NCAA Boys Basketball March Madness Tournament. Club members come together every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. There were a total of seven students and three faculty members who produced the bracket. The score of the bracket was 363 points, with 48 teams correct, 18 one seed line off, one team 2 seed lines off, and one miss. In the seven years of doing this, this bracket was the second highest scoring for the club, their highest being in 2021 with a score of 369. The club’s website is well-known as a source of information for college basketball enthusiasts, especially in the weeks before Selection Sunday, the day that the bracket is released. The website, www.delphibracketology.com, received close to 50,000 page views in the 30 days leading up to Selection Sunday.
