You are already deciding what courses to take next school year, so maybe it’s time to start thinking about what clubs and activities you want to try next year as well. Do you consider yourself a leader and also a creative person? The Student Council could be the club for you. Student Council is a group of students throughout all grade levels that come up with themes for homecoming week and push for what students want in the school. The Student Council is also in charge of coming up with games for the pep sessions, themes for the next home games, and even spirit weeks. The Student Council is currently led by co-presidents Evann Royal and Elah Abbott, and sponsor Mrs. Pickering. They meet on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. and discuss upcoming events. If you are interested in joining to help get your class’s voice heard, then pick up a form from the office at the end of the year.
