Delphi vs Carroll rivalry week recap
Last week’s sports schedule saw three rivalry faceoffs in boys and girls basketball and wrestling. The first matchup of the week occurred Wednesday, Jan. 4, with the Oracle wrestlers taking on those from Carroll. The Oracles ended the night on top, earning Delphi the first winter sports rivalry win. On Friday, Jan. 6, the varsity girls basketball team started a varsity double feature, followed after by the varsity boys game. The Lady Oracles battled the Carroll team through the game, but lost 46-36. Later that night, the boys lost to a strong 8-2 Cougars team 66-36.
