Senior Spotlight: Ella Baker
A staple in the theater program since her sophomore year, senior Ella Baker is known for her avid involvement in plays ranging from Mary Poppins (set designer), Diary of a Wallflower (set designer, tech, and an extra student), Spongebob (set designer and tech), and Clue (Colonel Mustard and set designer). Among the many productions she was a part of, she notes, “Mary Poppins was one of my favorites, riding alongside Clue.” Other than theater, Ella’s hobbies include drawing, painting, writing occasionally, and playing games. Looking back on her high school years in total, her favorite part of DCHS is the atmosphere and how friendly people are. Ella’s advice to underclassmen is “Even when things get hard, push through. Don’t give up!”
