Senior Spotlight: Maribel Martinez
Well-liked senior, Maribel Martinez, was elected this year’s Homecoming queen. “I was surprised that I won because all of the girls that got nominated were well-known…” she notes excitedly. Looking back on her high school career, Maribel’s favorite parts are getting to play soccer with her sister, being a counselor on the sixth grade Camp T field trip, and in general how the school and community as a whole are very nice. In her free time, Maribel often enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family. Her advice for younger high school students is to “never give up on their dreams, keep being positive, and never stop smiling.”
