2022’s fall shoe
Over the seasons, we have seen fashion trends fade in and out. This fall’s most popular shoe is, in my opinion, Birkenstock’s Boston Clog. Older generations may remember seeing versions of this shoe in the late 90’s known as “potato shoes.” The reason this trend has come back for fall, and is probably here to stay, is the comfortable fit the clog gives. You can wear them with or without socks, dressing them up with jeans, or wearing them with more comfortable clothes. Not only are these shoes versatile, they are also made in both men’s and women’s sizes. Upon first glance, you may think that the Boston Clog isn’t very cute, but I would have to argue that their other qualities have grown on people, making them a very likable and cute shoe.
