Mr. Dennison and the Oracle band
Mr. Jay Dennison is in his 19th year of leading our band program. He spends his days teaching his students how to read and play music. He not only teaches during class, but he teaches one-on-one lessons and selects the perfect songs to lead the band to success during their exciting concerts. His brass background from an early age makes him particularly skilled at playing trombone. Not only does he excel in brass instruments, but he can teach woodwind and percussion instruments as well. This leads the Delphi bands to success at their concerts and competitions. The band program is an essential part of the DCHS culture.
