Varsity D

Are you involved in athletics at Delphi? Have you heard about the Varsity D Club? Varsity D, sponsored by Mr. German, is a club that recognizes those who are in a varsity sport and make a varsity team. Members of Varsity D may qualify for special awards at the end of their senior year. Any athlete that earns three varsity letters in one sport qualifies for a plaque. If an athlete receives four varsity letters in one sport or three different varsity letters their senior year, they also qualify for a Varsity D blanket. Members of Varsity D also take part in an important and popular fundraiser for the athletic department. During the fall, they sell wreaths and garland for the Christmas season. This year’s wreath sale runs from Oct. 12 – Nov. 3.
