Grown

Grown

Grown by Tiffany D. Jackson is another Rosie nominee this year. The book follows the main character Enchanted who gets noticed by the R&B Legend, Korey Fields. He dreams of making her a star. But one day, Enchanted wakes up with blood on her hands and no memories of the previous night and Korey Fields found dead. The dream Enchanted thought she was living is now a nightmare. Overall this book was okay. By no means was the book my favorite, but I can see why so many would enjoy it. It’s a uniquely written story. However, I am still unclear on the ending. (4.27/5 stars on Goodreads)
