Delphi FFA Livestock Competition

Delphi FFA was represented very well Wednesday, April 13 at the Area VIII Livestock Judging contest. The eleven participants, who have been working hard and practicing once a week since September, include Clayton Duff, Sam Bieghler, Lacey Pickering, Tylene McKinzie, Aubrey and Addison Duff, Reagan Gleason, Lannon Pickering, Mackenzie Anderson, Mercedes Disinger, and Colton Wilson. Delphi FFA had two teams in the top ten with one finishing third and the other finishing seventh. Eighth grader Clayton Duff won the contest and ensured the team a third place spot and qualified for state contest. An eighth grader has not  won the contest in the past ten years or more. The state qualifying team and third overall consisted of Clayton Duff, Sam Bieghler, Lacey Pickering, and Tylene McKinzie. The questions team placed fifteenth in their division and Mercedes Disinger placed sixteenth. Other individual highlights include senior member Sam Bieghler placing thirteenth, Aubrey Duff placing twentieth, and Reagan Gleason placing twenty-second. Congratulations to Delphi FFA.
