New co-presidents for Creative Writing Club

The Creative Writing Club is transitioning into two new co-presidents. Emily Mears and Isabelle Voorhies will be assuming the roles of co-presidents following Ava Charnley and Abby Burns. As seniors, Ava and Abby needed to appoint new co-presidents because they will be leaving next year. Each had their own qualities they were looking for in their co-presidents to follow. Abby stated that “more than anything, the Creative Writing Club is designed for people to get together and express their creativity with open feedback. When we looked for new presidents for the club, we wanted innovative people who could bring plenty of energy, insight, and inspiration to everyone around them. I’m so glad Isabelle and Emily have stepped up to fill the role, and I look forward to everything they will do in the future.” Ava expressed a similar regard to the selection of these new co-presidents. She went on to say that she looked for people who knew what the club was formed for.
