Girls Swimming Sectionals
After being delayed multiple times due to snow, the girls swim team made it to the sectional finals on Feb. 7. In the final heat of the 200 meter medley relay, Eydie Bruestle swam backstroke, Sarah Howard swam breaststroke, Abby O’Neil swam fly, and Emma Titus swam freestyle. They broke the record they set earlier this season (2:03.22) with a time of 2:02.76. Eydie Bruestle then broke the 100 meter backstroke record, which was previously 1:06.43, with a time of 1:05.59. She got second place. The girls swim team ended the season with two records broken and they got seventh place overall.
