Girls basketball finishes season
The girls basketball team has finished their season, celebrating seniors and taking on sectionals in their final week of play. The girls had their senior night Saturday, Jan. 29. The team took on conference opponent, the Eastern Comets, and lost in a close 35-33 game. The seniors recognized included Libbie Smith, Kaitlyn Miller, Haleigh King, and Emma Lattimore and foreign exchange students Elise Lagree and Marine Proto. After starting the season 8-8, the girls had a rough finish to their regular season losing four of their last five games.
