Kaitlyn Miller Senior Spotlight

This week’s senior spotlight features senior basketball player Kaitlyn Miller. Kaitlyn started playing basketball when she was in 5th grade. She had a lot of fun early on shooting in the driveway with her dad and stepdad. This gave her something to do and after long enough she fell in love with the game. Kaitlyn moved to Delphi from Harrison during her sophomore year and is glad to be a Lady Oracle. Along with playing for the school, Kaitlyn has also been on an AAU team for five years. Being on this team, she has gained confidence and kept herself in shape while it also taught her how to communicate and work better with her team. Kaitlyn’s personal goals for the season are to get better in the paint, be able to shoot the ball with confidence, and better her free throw percentage. Kailtyn’s favorite thing about basketball is getting the chance to meet new people and spend more time playing while being surrounded by her friends and family.
