APUSH classes participate in speed dating
Mr. Gilbert’s AP United States History classes completed their Market Revolution speed dating project over the last week. On Oct. 28, the classes chose their characters, which were famous people from history. The students spent the next week researching their character until Nov. 8 when they dressed up and portrayed their character in speed dating sessions. These sessions were two minute long periods in which students would “meet’ other historical figures and determine their compatibility based on their ideas and views on the Market Revolution. According to senior Makaila Summers, “I think that this project was a really fun and interesting way to learn about the most influential people during the Market Revolution.”
