Advanced culinary arts makes cookies for kindergarteners
Currently, Mrs. Nethercutt’s Advanced Culinary Arts class is bringing fall into their classroom by making pumpkin cookies for the kindergarten students. Over the past week, the class worked to make, bake, and ice the cookies, which were delivered on Thursday, Oct. 14 for Camden Early Childhood Center’s annual Pumpkin Patch Day. According to junior Elah Abbott, “My favorite part of the project was getting to see how good our end result looked after making the dough from scratch, rolling it out, cutting the shapes, icing them, and then finally being able to give them to the little kids.”
