Movie review: Dear Evan Hansen
Dear Evan Hansen, a well-appraised musical, has made the jump from the stage in 2015, to a book in 2017, and has finally reached Hollywood in 2021. One thing that has remained constant for this story is Ben Platt. Platt played the title character Evan Hansen when the musical started in 2015 and is playing him once more in the movie. Dear Evan Hansen tells a coming of age story as the main character, Evan, finds his way though a suicide at his high school and the after-effects. With a great cast and amazing story telling, this drama-filled movie is sure to be a great watch.
