SAE students travel to Farm Progress Show

On Sept. 1, 34 DCHS students traveled to Decatur, Illinois to attend the 2021 Farm Progress Show. Any FFA member who had paid their dues, completed SAE, and completed three FFA activities was able to attend. The Farm Progress Show was a large expo highlighting new agriculture technology with booths and demonstrations. Before leaving for the show, Connor Roberson, FFA president, stated, “I’m excited to go and learn about all the new technology and advancements in the agricultural world, as well as all the pathways available for students. We are the future of agriculture and I’m enthused to learn about how we can change and influence it.”
