Teen‌ ‌Titans:‌ ‌Raven‌

Raven by Kami Garcia is a graphic novel that follows the story of Raven, a teenage girl who recently survived a car accident. Unfortunately, her foster mom did not survive. However, Raven doesn’t escape from the accident unharmed; she loses her memory. Like you see in popular pop culture shows and movies, she can remember the basics, like getting dressed and boiling water, but she doesn’t remember who she used to be or what her favorite candy was. Then comes the choice: Does she really want to discover what happened in the past and uncover all the dark thoughts clouding her brain? Overall I really liked this graphic novel. I thought the illustrations were well done and the color scheme was very fitting for the theme. I thought some of the characters were rushed, but being a graphic novel, there’s not much time for characterization. I would recommend this book to my friends.
