Santa Clause: A trilogy filled with Christmas joy

Santa Clause: A trilogy filled with Christmas joy

Home Alone, The Grinch, Elf, and The Polar Express are a few family favorites during the holidays. However, cozying up on the couch with some hot chocolate looks a little different for me. In the spring, summer, fall, and of course winter, you can see me binge watching the Santa Clause trilogy. Aside from being hilarious, the trilogy is heartwarming. It dives into our everyday issues of divorce, loneliness, and mistakes. They use Christmas joy to bring family back together, and help us appreciate what we do have. Scott Calvin, aka Santa Claus (aka Tim Allen) is a single, overworking dad, just trying to make his kid happy during the holidays. After “killing” Santa Claus, putting on his coat, and transporting to the North Pole, Scott Calvin becomes the new father of Christmas. And that was only the beginning of the journey. Warm up the hot cocoa, grab your favorite blanket, and press play. You won’t regret taking yourself on the journey of closure, love, and holiday cheer.
