Faculty Spotlight: Mr. Painter’s special Christmas memory
Question: What is a special Christmas memory you would like to share?
Answer: “In high school, my brother and I knew we were getting the new “Tecmo Bowl” video game for our Nintendo (the original), so we waited until my parents went to bed, opened it up Christmas Eve and stayed up all night playing it. My mom even came downstairs at 4:00 A.M. to yell at us for being up so late playing video games and had no idea we were playing our present. At about 6:00 A.M., we rewrapped the game and put it back under the tree. Then we got up to open it Christmas morning and acted like we were so surprised! Our parents never knew about it until we told them about it years later!
