A Christmas Carol

Charles Dickon’s A Christmas Carol is a Christmas classic. I cannot name another book that has more movie variations, plays, and fits into more categories than this ghostly tale. Most of us are familiar with the storyline as we follow Ebinzer Scrooge through the past and future, learning more about the effect of his deeds. Most of us have even seen the play in sixth grade english and read lines from it. But have you read it? If not I highly recommend it. Not only is it a classic and a great piece of literature, but it will allow you to get a hole-punch on your LMC genre challenge. So, if you are looking for a great book to read this holiday season, try a piece of classical literature and read A Christmas Carol before watching the movie this year!
