NHS induction ceremony and other plans
The National Honor Society’s induction ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 27 in the Little Theater with 27 new inductees. The ceremony is going to be done as quickly as possible, with COVID-19 procedures (social distancing and masks) in place and no food or reception this year. At the induction ceremony, Kate Layman, head of the Delphi Opera House, will be a keynote speaker. Due to COVID-19, the annual Breakfast with Santa event is likely to be cancelled but NHS hopes that the blood drive will still be able to be held in the spring. Basketball and volleyball concessions will be helped with as well, and scholarships will still be offered to four lucky NHS seniors at the end of the year.
