Delphi art students learn new techniques

The Delphi art students have been busy working on several projects, some of which are shown in the display cases outside of the art room.  In the drawing display case, there is artwork from the following students: Zoe Callender, Erik Macke, Katlyn Sherinian, and Caitlyn Snavely.  In the Advanced Art display case, work is displayed by Jacob Baker, Hope DeMello, Emma Douglas, Brooke Farrell, and Stephanie Proper.  The other works of art seen in the cases are from students who have chosen to remain anonymous.  In Intro to Art, students are choosing songs and creating Abstract Expressionist watercolor paintings as emotional responses.  The Advanced Art class is learning and practicing the process of monotype printmaking, this week.  Next week, the Advanced Art class will be learning about mosaics.  This week, the Painting class is painting en plein air (outside), using handmade watercolor sketchbooks, and next they will create their own project of choice.  Lastly, Drawing class has finished their Graffiti unit, and is now learning about monotype printmaking, where they will create a series of prints and draw on top of them.
