Delphi sports goes safety first

The masks are on, and the chairs are spread out.  This is the new normal for Friday nights.  Safety is being taken seriously this year to ensure that Covid doesn’t run rampant.  The sports scene looks very different this year.  The new mask mandate means that social distancing is mandatory, and masks are recommended.  To keep families and players safe, limited tickets are being sold for each event, in accordance to county and state guidelines.  All fall sporting events require social distancing from all spectators, and masks when social distancing is not possible.  This means that volleyball, cross country, soccer, football, and boys tennis are all affected.  Delphi Athletics still encourages spectators for all of our fall programs, but our players health and safety does come first.
